Like the town itself the Newbridge Hotel is steeped in history.
First opened in 1858 was a timber building known as the Bridge Inn, the rising town of Newbridge had everything including a brewery own by castlemaine.
A few years later in 1861 it was renamed Newbridge Hotel, It wasn’t until 1905 the current building that stands today was built by John Simpson.
Somewhere before 1960 our iconic parapet was cut into the shape that we now see.
Just like the publicans before us we hope you can share our time here with us for many years to come.
Today the Newbridge Hotel is the perfect place to catch up for dinner or a drink with family and friends. Located on the Loddon river, 30 minutes from the heart of Bendigo the Newbridge Hotel is a warm destination with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly service for locals and travellers alike .
