NEWBRIDGE hotel

Like the town itself the Newbridge Hotel is steeped in history.

First built in 1853 was a timber building known as the Bridge Inn, the rising town of Newbridge had everything including a brewery own by  Fitzgerald who later went on to form  Castlemaine Perkins.
A few years later in 1861 it was renamed Newbridge Hotel, It wasn’t until 1914 the current building that stands today was built by Albert Strode.
